![]() Teppei reminds me of Mamoru from Uta no Onii-san, a happy character that goes through a major shitty mood swing that comes off completely uncharacteristic of the character. In this episode, while I fangirled how good he looked being all distraught with the disheveled hair and downcast eyes, the performance was something I did not like at all. His character is supposed to be that sweetheart that, in some unfortunate way, is the one that gets the brunt of life in every possible way yet manages to rebound from it with a smile on his face. Maruyama Ryuhei’s Teppei is a character really don’t like. ![]() Your hair maybe 'fuwafuwa' and your face maybe flawless but I hate this character of yours. The only thing he managed to do right in that scene was cry… but that, in my opinion, is the only think Ninomiya knows how to do successfully as an actor.Īnd don’t get me started on how his mother’s plight got resolved in less than 15 minutes because that was some fucking uneventful bullshit. Instead, he “acted” that entire scene as if he was a dead fish that was just washed upon shore.ĭead eyes, scratchy voice, and mannerisms that seemed so overacted and unnatural. When he’s forced to choose between advancing himself through life or having his mother sink into a deeper depression due to the pressures of swindle, I expected Ninomiya to show that he was struggling through the decision. ![]() It seemed as if he was in complete auto-pilot through episode 9. The acting in this episode was pretty bad and especially from the one guy who everyone praises to be an acting prodigy – Ninomiya Kazunari. There’s nothing in the show that speaks out to me I’m simply watching it to watch it because my stan’s in it. Every time I watch Freeter, its like I’m in a complacent daze. The drama finally picked up, but that’s because we’re now at the final chapter of the story. He also sacrifices his job interview to save his mother but his father is enraged that he did that, finally putting an end to any chances he has in securing a job at a decent agency. Luckily enough Seiji has the money, but the sacrifice is that he must give up the home he was about to purchase for him and his mother to move in to because that was the money to start his move. Seiji’s mother, Sumiko, is swindled and the family is now in debt to a con-artist for 1,000,000 yen. Teppei, on the other hand, is still sulking and pushes Akari away once she gets tired of crying. At least he didnt blow her off this time around
